Ex-Bombay Dyeing, ICICI counsel Vidya Adsule joins Hammurabi & Solomon as Senior Partner in Mumbai

Vidya Adsule, former Bombay Dyeing Vice President Legal, joins Hammurabi & Solomon (H&S), headed by Manoj Kumar, an alumnus of National Law School of India University and Harvard Business School.

Vidya, who has over 25 years of experience, has joined the firm as a Senior Partner and will head the firm’s Mumbai practice.

She has previously worked as in-house counsel with Bombay Dyeing Group, ICICI Bank, ICICI Venture Group, and Kotak Mahindra Investment.

H&S Managing Partner, Manoj Kumar said, “This will create an excellent opportunity not only to leverage our Mumbai capability but will enable us to advice clients, both domestic and international, in increased practice areas as well as industry sectors”.

Vidya, who is a graduate of Mumbai University, is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Vidya said, “At H&S, we look forward to increase our services and presence in the Mumbai Region. I am looking forward to working as a key member of the team.”

H&S will now have 6 Partners and 4 Partner Designates across its offices in Delhi, Mumbai and Ranchi

Recently, H&S has also expanded its international presence by joining hands with law firms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The firm already has similar tie-ups with leading law firms in London, Georgia and Russia.
