Ex- Cyril Amarchand Partners Harry Chawla, Niti Paul set up Atlas Law Partners

Harry Chawla and Niti Paul, who had recently exited from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, are establishing their own firm “Atlas Law Partners”.

Confirming the news to Bar & Bench, Harry said, “We are in the process of

setting up our new firm”.

Both Niti Paul, and her husband Harry Chawla joined Cyril Amarchand in April 2015, when the firm set up its Delhi office post the split. In fact, both of them had moved to Kochhar & Co. in January 2013 from Amarchand Mangaldas, before returning to CAM Delhi.

Harry started his career with Kochhar & Co. after graduating from Kurukshetra University in 1990. Thereafter, in 1995 he joined Luthra & luthra Law offices, where he worked for five years before setting up his own law firm Chawla & Co in 2000. In 2008, Harry joined Amarchand as an Equity Partner. He was also on the firm’s national management committee since October, 2011. However, in 2013, he resigned from Amarchand to take up this new role at Kochhar & Co.
