Ex-ICICI, Amarchand Counsel R Vedasagar to join Argus Partners

R. Vedasagar is joining Argus Partners as a Partner in Bangalore, where he will be part of the firm’s Banking & Finance practice. The banking veteran worked for ICICI for nearly twenty-five years, before making the shift to Amarchand Mangaldas in 2005.

Three years later, Vedsagar moved to Amarchand’s Bangalore office, eventually leaving the firm in 2010. He rejoined ICICI as a Legal Advisor for a short while after which he worked as a Senior Legal Advisor for L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited.

Argus Managing Partner Krishnava Dutt commented,

“Vedasagar brings to the firm an ocean of experience and knowledge in Banking & Finance  practice as also the infrastructure space.”

The firm has recently also promoted Siladitya Chatterjee as a Partner in Delhi.
