Ex-Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan lawyers start new IP firm, Vohra & Kumar

Dr. Sheetal Vohra and Nupur Kumar, former Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan lawyers, have started their own firm christened Vohra & Kumar, in Delhi. The firm will deal with IPR, Media, Entertainment, Technology, Competition & Cyber law.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Vohra said, “We have decided to leave Lakshmikumaran as we got lot of support from our clients and I have extensive experience to branch out. Moreover, the IP scenario is extremely positive due to Prime Minister’s make in India Policy, New IPR Policy and Commercial Courts coming in.”

Dr. Vohra was Trademark & Copyright Practice Head at Lakshmikumaran before starting the new venture.

She holds an LL.B. degree from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University and an LL.M. from Kurukshetra University. She also holds a PhD from MDU Rohtak. She has previously worked for Lal, Lahiri & Salhotra and DePenning & DePenning.

Nupur Kumar

Kumar is a 2012 graduate from Army Institute of Law, Mohali. Before joining as an Attorney at L&S in 2015, she worked for Zeus IP Advocates and Anand & Anand.

Apart from Vohra and Kumar, the firm has five lawyer and three paralegals.
