Juris Corp Partner Aninda Pal has decided to call his short stint at the firm quits.

He was hired as a Partner at Juris Corp’s Mumbai office, as part of the Mergers & Acquisitions & Private Equity practice, in November last year.

Pal, who is a 2005 graduate from Symbiosis Law School, started his career at Gagrats, after which he joined Trilegal in 2007.

His primary areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, private equity, venture capital and general corporate.

Commenting on the move in a press release, Pal said,

“It has been a short, though enriching, stint at Juris Corp and have decided to move on for other opportunities. Juris Corp consists of strong and talented professionals and I wish the firm all the best in its strategic growth initiatives.”

Earlier this month, Dispute Resolution Partner Detty Davis left the firm to join in-house practice. In February, the firm expanded its presence in southern India, with the hire of Debanjan Banerjee at its Bangalore office.
