[Exclusive]: JSA gets a new Chennai Partner with Symbi’s Varun Sriram

J. Sagar Associates has hired Varun Sriram as a Partner in the firm’s Chennai office.

JSA Managing Partner confirmed Varun’s joining and commented, “The Chennai practice is expanding rapidly and Varun is a senior resource with the right profile and experience.”

Prior to joining, JSA he was working with HSB Partners as a Partner.

A graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Varun started his career at HSB Partners in 2006 after which he moved to Economic Laws Practice in 2008. In 2010, he joined ALMT LegaL later rejoining HSB Partners.

Varun focuses on Private Equity, M&A and General Corporate Practice.

Recently, JSA saw the exit of its Equity Partner Akshay Chudasama with his team of four partners and other lawyers, who all left to join Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
