Finsec Law Advisors’ Indrajit Mishra and Tejesh Chitlangi to join IC Legal to start M&A and PE

Indrajit Mishra, Associate Partner and Head of Private Equity, and Tejesh Chitlangi, Senior Associate, at Finsec Law Advisors have left to join IC Legal as Equity Partners. Janhavi Seksaria, a former Associate at Finsec Law Advisors has also joined IC Legal as an Associate with effect from May 9, 2013.

At IC Legal, Indrajit will head the Private Equity and M&A practice and Tejesh will be Head of Investment Funds practice.

IC Legal, set up in 2004, is headed by Managing Partners, Bheru Choudhary and Hemant Shah. The firm specialises in Real Estate, Litigation and Media Laws.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Managing Partner Bheru Choudhary said, “With Indrajit and Tejesh joining we will be adding new verticals including PE, M&A and Investment Funds making it a full service law firm”.

Indrajit had joined Finsec in 2011 to build the firm’s private equity transactional practice. Prior to joining Finsec, Indrajit was a Senior Associate at ARA Law. He has also worked at Thakker and Thakker for more than 2 years.

Tejesh worked at Finsec for more than two and half years, prior to which he was with ARA Law for three and half years. He is a graduate of National Law University Jodhpur.

With Indrajit and Tejesh joining, IC Legal now has a team of 15 lawyers including 5 partners. The other three partners are Bheru Choudhary, Hemant Shah and Yogesh Adhia

Finsec Managing Partner Sandeep Parekh said, “I wish both Indrajit and Tejesh good luck and thank them for their contribution to the firm these past two years.”

Parekh told Bar & Bench that the firm now has a team of five lawyers. He added, “We will continue our focus on the financial sector, will move up the value chain and will continue to contribute actively to policy making in financial regulations as we move forward.”
