Former Christ School of Law Principal John Thaliath appointed as General Counsel for GE South Asia

John Thaliath, former Principal of School of Law at Christ University in Bangalore, has been appointed as General Counsel for GE in South Asia.

The appointment will take effect from May 4.

Thaliath was previously working as General Counsel for GE Global Research, a post he will continue in, along with his new designation.

Prior to joining GE in 2016, Thaliath worked at Trilegal, TE Connectivity, and Inter Corporation. He served as Principal of Christ's School of Law from 2006-2008.

He holds an LL.M. from London School of Economics and Political Science.

Thaliath replaces Tejal Patil, who was GE's General Counsel for South Asia from 2012.
