Former HSA Managing Partner Amitabh Sharma sets up LexRidge Partners with L&S and AZB lawyers

Former HSA Advocates Managing Partner Amitabh Sharma has set up  LexRidge Partners, a corporate-commercial transactional law firm, along with Vikas Kumar and Naved Askari.

A press release issued by the firm states,

“The vision at LexRidge Partners is to provide premium legal advisory experience to our clients in a cost-effective and commercially expedient manner.”

The primary practice vertical at LexRidge Partners is in the Corporate-Commercial sphere, including M&A, joint ventures, venture capital, private equity investments, commercial disputes, projects, energy and infrastructure.

Amitabh Sharma was the Managing Partner of HSA Advocates till March 31, 2019. Prior to joining HSA, he was a Partner at Khaitan & Co. Before that, Amitabh was a Partner at J. Sagar Associates.

Vikas Kumar is a dual-qualified lawyer admitted in India and registered as a solicitor in the United Kingdom (non-practicing). Vikas also holds a full- time MBA from INSEAD. Prior to LexRidge, Vikas was a Partner at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (L&S) for 4 years. Vikas advises clients on M&A, investments and exit transactions across diverse sectors.

Naved Askari was a Counsel at AZB & Partners before joining LexRidge. He was previously General Counsel at Suzlon Energy Limited and in-house counsel with Wockhardt Limited.

Naved started his career as a litigator with Mulla & Mulla. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of India as well as various High Courts and tribunals across the country.
