Former Little & Co. Partner Nahush Shah has joined the newly revived Mumbai office of Fox Mandal as a Partner with effect from April 15, 2012.

Former Little & Co. Partner Nahush Shah has joined the newly revived Mumbai office of Fox Mandal as a Partner with effect from April 15, 2012.

Shah has over 30 years of experience and will look after the firm’s Banking & Finance and Real Estate practice.

Speaking to Bar & Bench about his decision to join Fox Mandal, Shah said, “I’ve known Som Mandal since many years and I can say with confidence and I know everyone who knows him will agree with me that he is not only a visionary and brilliant lawyer but also one of the most genuine and straightforward people I have met. I am certain that the Fox Mandal Bombay office will achieve great heights with his support and encouragement.”

Shah started his career in 1982 with Manilal Kher Ambalal & Co. He worked with Manilal for a year and then joined Little & Co. as an Advocate Assistant. Shah was later inducted as a Partner in the year 1997 and worked there till February, 2012.

His main areas of practice include Litigation, Banking and Finance, Dispute Resolution for Banking, Enforcement and Recovery Laws, Finance and Securitization, Consumer disputes and Labour Law.

This takes the total number of partners in the Mumbai office to 3. The firm now has a total of 10 lawyers in its Mumbai office.

Fox Mandal Managing Partner Som Mandal also informed Bar & Bench that they have finalised a bigger office space in Mumbai and will soon be moving to one of the buildings in Nariman point.

After parting ways with Little & Co., Fox Mandal had recently restarted its Mumbai office under the name Fox Mandal & Partners. The other two Partners in Mumbai office are Debasis Law and Usha Amonkar.
