Nilanjan Sinha, former Head of Corporate Advisory at Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co. Ltd, has joined ICICI Bank.

It is understood that Sinha has joined as second in-command at the legal department, and will eventually replace Sanker Parameswaran, who presently serves as Head of Corporate Legal Group at ICICI Bank.

Sinha joined Godrej & Boyce in 2017, prior to which he was working at financial services and management consulting firm Marsh & McLennan Companies as Head of Legal.

He has over twenty years of experience working as an in-house counsel, having also worked as General Counsel at GE Capital and at Yes Bank. He has previously also worked at ICICI Bank as Chief Manager – Corporate Legal for five years.

He holds an LL.M. from the University of Bristol.
