Hammurabi & Solomon acquires Mumbai-based Brahmand Lexis

As part of its expansion strategy, Hammurabi & Solomon has acquired Mumbai-based law firm Brahmand Lexis.

The acquisition is aimed at strengthening the firm’s presence in the dispute management, IPR and capital markets space.

In a press release, Founder and Managing Partner of H&S Manoj Kumar was quoted as saying,

Confirming the merger, Digajmaan Mishra, Managing Partner of Brahmand Lexis said,

“Being the boutique law firm with expertise in complete Litigation & Dispute Management, IPR and Capital Markets, we aspire to grow and achieve higher scalability and wider presence for our clients. We believe that under the flagship of Dr. Kumar along with the extensive expertise of H&S team, our capabilities to offer vast range of services with pan India presence will enable us to provide bespoke solutions to the clients.”

H&S now has over 100 lawyers across its offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Patna and Ranchi. Two years ago, the firm had acquired Bangalore-based Seagull Law. In that same year, it had opened its new office in Patna.
