IBA to host Next Gen Legal Summit on oral advocacy and cross-examination

International Bar Association (IBA) Young Lawyers' Committee is organising the Next Gen Legal Summit, which will take place at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi, India, on December 5, 2025.

With an emphasis on preparing aspiring professionals for the demands of modern dispute resolution practice, this one-day program aims to improve oral advocacy and cross-examination skills.

The summit intends to bring together young solicitors, trainers, and experts to engage in an immersive, practice-oriented learning experience that is in line with the Committee's mission to empower and support the next generation of legal practitioners.

Participants will learn about strategic questioning, persuasive advocacy subtleties, and effective courtroom communication through interactive workshops. The summit aims to give participants the necessary litigation skills and enhance their ability to confidently and competently negotiate complex dispute resolution environments by encouraging practical engagement and professional development.
