In a win for diversity in the legal profession, Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) scholar Mukesh Kori has been appointed as a civil judge in Madhya Pradesh. He is a graduate of NALSAR, Hyderabad.

IDIA founder Shamnad Basheer took to Twitter to express his elation over the news. He remarked,

“Justice just became a wee bit more inclusive!”
