India ADR Week (IAW) 2026, organised by the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA), returns for its 6th edition from 7 to 11 September 2026 across Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi. This year marks MCIA's 10th year of operations which will bring together leading judges, arbitrators, practitioners, in-house counsel, arbitral institutions, and industry leaders from India and around the world for five days of thought-provoking discussions, debates, and networking.
IAW 2026 will feature Justice Surya Kant, Chief Justice of India, who will deliver the keynote address on the closing day in New Delhi, and Justice Vibhu Bakhru, Chief Justice, High Court of Karnataka, who will grace the opening day in Bengaluru as the Chief Guest. The Opening remarks on 9th September at Mumbai will be delivered by Justice G.S. Kulkarni, Judge, High Court of Bombay.
Featuring more than 20 sessions, India ADR Week 2026 will explore the latest developments shaping international arbitration and dispute resolution. Discussions will cover a range of contemporary issues, including artificial intelligence and diversity in dispute resolution, arbitration seats, third-party funding, cross-border data privacy, energy disputes, construction arbitration, issue estoppel, and the evolving role of in-house counsel.
A new feature of this year's programme is a series of jurisdiction-focused corridor events, beginning with the Singapore Corridor Event which will be held in Mumbai and a MENA Corridor Event scheduled to take place in New Delhi. These sessions will bring together leading practitioners from the respective jurisdictions to discuss developments in international arbitration, strengthen cross-border collaboration, and promote dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
The Week will also feature Debates hosted by MCIA across all three host cities, providing a platform for senior advocates, arbitrators, and international practitioners to debate some of the most pressing and controversial issues in dispute resolution.
IAW 2026 will comprise more than 20 events hosted by 18 leading international law firms, arbitral organisations and industry bodies, alongside 12 leading Indian law firms, reflecting the truly global nature of the programme.
