Tushar Sharma and Akshita Shrivastva have been promoted to Senior Legal Counsel. Akshita joined Indigo a year ago from AZB & Partners.

Commenting on these promotions, IndiGo General Counsel Priya Mehra said,

“I am very proud to see the team growing with a great sense of motivation and determination keeping pace with the growth of the industry in which we operate.

At IndiGo, unlike many other organizations, the in-house team is no different than a law firm with a fairly large team of 21 lawyers. I wish each of them more success and thank them for the support in making this one of the best teams to work in.”

Priya joined Indigo in December 2016 from Gibson Dunn. She was working in the firm’s Singapore office since June 2008. Prior to joining Gibson, she was working with Jones Day in Singapore, a position she took up in 2007 after five years at AZB & Partners.

She is dual qualified to practice in India and England & Wales and has an extensive background working in the Indian markets.
