IndusLaw on expansion drive; plans to have 100 lawyers by 2016

IndusLaw has been on a hiring spree in their Delhi and Bangalore offices. As a result of the expansion, the firm has taken additional space for their Bangalore office.

The firm, which currently has 76 lawyers in its offices at Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad, plans to cross the 100 lawyer mark by the end of this year.

Partner Suneeth Katarki said in a press release,

“It is nice to have expanded and taken additional space in Bangalore. More importantly it is nice to have rapidly filled it with lawyers. We hope to expand in Mumbai and Delhi also very soon. I am confident we will be more than 100 lawyers in the New Year.”

Additionally, the firm has also recently made some promotions effective September 1 of this year. Pallavi Kanakagiri and Winnie Shekhar have been promoted to Principal Associate, whereas Ashi Bhat has been made a Senior Associate.

The firm has also recently hired Ray Vikram Nath from Japanese firm TMI Associates to strengthen its Japan practice.
