Introducing India Law Connect (Beta)

Bar & Bench

The Indian corporate law firm is, in more ways than one, on the cusp of a major change. Be it in the context of foreign law firms (yes, it once again looks unlikely), the growing number of “peel off” firms, or even the fact that firms are slowly but surely spreading their reach to beyond the Indian market

These changes have also been followed with an increasingly diverse, and sophisticated knowledge database. Indian law firms are strengthening their research and knowledge management teams and are publishing more than before. These publications address complex legal issues, and the changing policy landscape of India.

Around five years ago, we launched The Viewpoint, where some of the biggest law firms in the country wrote about contemporary legal developments. But what we realised was that the scope of legal knowledge management was far greater.

Which is where India Law Connect comes into play.

Indian Law Connect aims to become a comprehensive database for in-house counsels, corporate lawyers, private practitioners and students of the law to be updated on the latest in law and policy.
