Former Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Asim Abbas is rejoining J. Sagar Associates to anchor the firm’s Telecom Media Technology (TMT) practice at Delhi.

Abbas has 25 years of experience in the Telecommunication sector, and has also been a policy maker in the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Government of India.

Asim had left Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas in 2016 to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

He has previously worked at Khaitan & Co, Bharti Airtel, J. Sagar Associates, and Luthra & Luthra (L&L Partners). In 2010, he merged his firm Legal Spectrums with Khaitan, and five years later moved to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
