The departures at JSA show little signs of abating, the latest being capital markets Partner, Kaushik Mukherjee.

As per our sources, Mukherjee has decided to leave the firm, and will be joining BMR Legal.

Update: Mukherjee has not yet accepted BMR’s offer.

Mukherjee declined to comment on the move.

“Kaushik will be moving on to a new opening in another firm. We wish him the best”, commented JSA Partner Somasekhar Sundaresan.

In 2013, the same year that founding Partner Jyoti Sagar retired, Mukherjee was one of 16 lawyers who were made Partner.

A former lawyer at White & Case, Mukherjee worked for six years at AZB & Partners before making the shift to JSA.

The firm’s Senior Partner, Berjis Desai, could not be contacted at time of publication of this piece.
