JSA Partner Shiraj Salelkar resigns to join IC Legal

Shiraj Salelkar, Partner at J. Sagar Associates has resigned from the firm to join IC Legal as an Equity Partner. He has joined the firm with effect from August 22, 2013. Shiraj will focus on arbitration, litigation, real estate and private equity matters.

Shiraj worked with JSA for 8 years and was made Partner in 2009. He was part of the dispute resolution team at JSA.

Prior to JSA, Shiraj has worked with Crawford Bayley and Co., Mahimtura and Co and Gagrat and Co.

Shiraj has more than 19 years of experience in dealing with arbitrations (domestic and international) and litigation in various courts in India. He has also handled diverse corporate and commercial matters and has extensively worked on real estate transactions.

With Shiraj’s joining, IC Legal now has 6 partners.

The firm also recently taken a new office space in Andheri as it was outgrowing the existing office. Some of the team members would be shifting to the new Andheri premises in December 2013.
