J Sagar Associates (JSA) Partners Sumanto Basu and Pallavi Bedi have resigned from the firm and will be leaving by the end of March.
In JSA’s release, it is stated,
Our partners Mr. Sumanto Basu and Ms. Pallavi Bedi will be retiring from the firm with effect from 31st March 2017.
Sumanto and Pallavi have each been valued members of the firm since 2007 and 2011 respectively and we wish them every success in the future.”
Sumanto chairs the Projects Practice at JSA and focuses on the Energy sector.
Pallavi practices in the area of Projects and Banking & Finance (including Project Finance).
Prior to joining JSA, Pallavi was a Senior Associate at Mayer Brown International LLP. The CLC-graduate (Class of 2002) spent five years in India (in Trilegal and Amarchand Mangaldas) before joining Mayer Brown in November 2007.
