Juris Corp Partner Hoshedar Wadia leaves the firm; Moves to London

Hoshedar Wadia, Partner at Juris Corp has left the firm and is exploring opportunities in London. Hoshedar told Bar & Bench that he has joined his wife in London, who has moved there on an assignment.

He confirmed that he is looking for an assignment in London. Though he was quick to add, “If and when I go back to India, Juris Corp is the place I would like to work”.

“I am moving to join my wife as it is a great career opportunity for her. I have not moved for ‘better prospects’. I could have done that in the past – that is not the intention in my moving to London.”

Hoshedar is a graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai. He started his career with Juris Corp and has been working in the firm’s Banking and Finance practice for over 11 years.

He is an expert in the field of OTC derivatives, structured products and corporate compliance. He is also a solicitor enrolled with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society.

Another Partner at Juris Corp, Anil Jarial has taken a sabbatical. Anil told Bar & Bench that he has taken a break and will re-join the firm in a few months.

Recently, Juris Corp Of Counsel, Fraser M Alexander had left the firm to join Majmudar & Partners as Associate Partner.

This year the firm has also opened its office in Chennai with Hufriz Wadia, former Senior Associate at Dubai based law firm Al Tamimi & Company joining the firm as a Partner.
