Justice Alok Kumar Verma made permanent Judge of Uttarakhand High Court [Read Notification]

Justice Verma was appointed as an Additional Judge in May 2019.

The Central government has notified the appointment of Justice Alok Kumar Verma, an Additional Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court, as a permanent Judge of the High Court.

Justice Verma was appointed as an Additional Judge by way of notification dated May 22, 2019. He took the oath of office on May 27, 2019.

Born in 1964 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Justice Verma did his LL.B. from Harish Chandra Postgraduate College in the year 1985.

He joined the Judicial Service in Uttar Pradesh and was posted at Jhansi as Munsif Civil Judge (Junior Division) in 1987.

Later he opted for Judicial Service in the State of Uttaranchal after the creation of the State in the year 2000.
