Karanjawala makes Symbi grad Debmalya Banerjee the firm’s seventh partner

The Delhi-based litigation firm, Karanjawala & Co has promoted Debmalya Banerjee to partnership with effect from August 9, 2014. With this, Banerjee becomes the firm’s seventh Partner.

A graduate of Symbiosis Law College, Debmalya joined the Bar in 2003 and initially worked with Senior Advocate Jaideep Gupta before joining Karanjawala in 2005. He has been practicing both in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court working on the civil side with focus on 
breach of contracts, Arbitration, Mining, Property/land matters and
 customs and excise cases.

Managing Partner Raian Karanjawala, whose policy so far as making partners is concerned has always been on the conservative side, said, “We have promoted Deb as a Partner with effect from August 9, 2014. He has been working with us for a long time.”

The other Partners at the firm include founding Partners Raian Karanjawala and Manik Karanjawala, along with Nandini Gore, Ruby Singh Ahuja, Sandeep Kapur, and Meghna Mishra.
