Centre clears appointment of Ashok Menon, Annie John, Narayana Pisharadi as additional judges of Kerala HC

Kerala High Court will get three more judges as the Central government has cleared the appointment of Ashok Menon, Annie John and Narayana Pisharadi as Additional judges.

Ashok Menon is currently serving as the High Court Registrar General while Narayana Pisharadi is Registrar (Vigilance). Annie John is Principal District and Sessions Judge of Trichur.

While Menon and Pisharadi will serve a two-year tenure, Annie John will hold office till November 15, 2019.

With these appointments, the strength of the Kerala High Court has risen from 36 to 39. Annie John will be the fifth woman judge (sitting) on the Bench.
