Khaitan & Co Direct Tax Executive Director Daksha Baxi and Corporate Associate Partner Pooja Baxi Patel have resigned from the firm.

It is understood that both mother-daughter would be joining Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Update: Cyril Shroff has today confirmed that both Daksha and Pooja are joining the firm. He said,

Khaitan & Co’s Amar Sinhji confirmed Daksha and Pooja’s exit and said,

Daksha is the Executive Director at Khaitan & Co. She focuses on Direct Tax, and had joined Khaitan in 2007.

Pooja is part of the Corporate team. She has previously worked at AZB & Partners and Wadia Ghandy & Co.
