Khaitan Sud & Partners (KS Partners) has made Principal Associate, Deepak Khurana (pictured) a Partner in the litigation team. The firm has also recently hired Ashutosh Singh, former lawyer at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited, as a Partner to further strengthen its insurance practice.
After graduating from Delhi University in 2006, Deepak started his career with KS Partners as an Associate and has been with the firm for over six years now. He handles both commercial and corporate litigation at the firm.
Ashutosh (right) worked with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited for more than 5 years prior to which he was working as an independent practitioner. His major practice area is insurance with specific focus on handling third party motor insurance claim and consumer litigation.
In March, the firm had enhanced its corporate advisory vertical with former ALMT Legal Senior Associate, Preeti Balwani joining the Mumbai office as a salaried Partner. The firm had also tied up with Sapphires Professional Services, a boutique financial advisory services firm headed by Timmy Kandhari to boost its corporate advisory practice.
