Khaitan & Co’s Amitabh Sharma is now Managing Partner, HSA Advocates

Khaitan & Co Mumbai Partner Amitabh Sharma has joined HSA Advocates as its new Managing Partner effective 1 May 2016.

Amitabh will be based out of the firm’s Mumbai office and he shall, together with HSA’s collegium of Partners, also be responsible for driving the firm’s strategies, operations and client outreach, according to the firm’s press release

Amitabh has previously worked at J. Sagar Associates, with a specialisation  in infrastructure, energy and natural resources.

Megha Arora

HSA has also set up an office in Bengaluru with Khaitan’s Counsel Megha Arora. She has joined the firm as its first partner in Bengaluru to build the firm’s presence in the southern region.

Megha specializes in Energy, Projects, and Corporate Commercial transactions.

In Delhi, Rahul Arora from Khaitan  has joined as an Associate Partner. Rahul, who has been a counsel for over eight years, specializes in Projects and Infrastructure.

HSA now has 21 Partners & Associate Partners with offices across New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.

The firm had earlier lost Partners Navin Syiem and Avirup Nag to IndusLaw.
