After Vaish, Khaitan, Trilegal, Poovayya and Talwar Thakore, Kochhar joins the league of top law firms who are shifting offices to better real estate. Kochhar & Co. is the latest entrant in our office move series. Kochhar has decided to move from its existing office at Greater Kailash II to a nearby yet plush office space in Tower A of DLF Jasola in South Delhi. Speaking to Bar & Bench, Managing Partner Rohit Kochhar said, “We have invested more than Rs. 30 Crores ($ 6.5 Million) in the new office. The new office has the state of art infrastructure and is in consonance with our standing before our clients.” He confirmed that they were looking to hire more associates and clarified that only the Delhi office would shift, but the Gurgaon office would not relocate to the new building. He added, “We are one of the few national firms that are present in six states.”

Kochhar’s Chennai office will also be moving to a larger space in the same building at Raheja Towers. The Intellectual Property Divisions and the Corporate Division which were located in two offices will now move to one larger location in the same building, he said. Earlier this year, Kochhar shifted the Bangalore office to Prestige Sigma, a more prominent and central address in Bangalore.

After Vaish, Khaitan, Trilegal, Poovayya and Talwar Thakore, Kochhar joins the league of top law firms who are shifting offices to better real estate. DLF Jasola comprises of two identical towers with a built up space of more than 700,000 square feet which will house both retail and commercial activities.
