Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Partner Ajay Joseph sets up ‘Veyrah Law’

Former Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Mumbai Partner Ajay Joseph, who had resigned from the firm in March this year, has set up his own firm called ‘Veyrah Law’ in Mumbai, with focus on corporate and M&A practice.

The team is 6 lawyers strong, with Joseph as Partner and Sandhya Sondhi as Of Counsel. Sondhi focuses on real estate transactions.

On his decision to leave L&S and set up his own firm, Joseph commented,

“My decision to leave was more to do with my desire to team up with friends in the profession and try something different. LKS is a wonderful place and it has been another great experience in my professional journey.”

Ajay was part of the corporate M&A practice of Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. He joined L&S in 2014 from Amarchand Mangaldas, where he was a Principal Associate. He has previously worked at Khaitan & Co.

He advises on all aspects of corporate & commercial laws, with special expertise in corporate acquisitions, cross border investments, takeovers & mergers (unlisted and listed), venture capital and private equity investments.
