Gujarat High Court starts official Telegram channel to provide circulars, causelists, notices

Gujarat High Court would be the first High Court in the country to have an official Telegram channel.

Gujarat High Court has started an official Telegram channel for furthering the ease and convenience of lawyers, litigants and stakeholders.

The initiative, which has been ushered in under the guidance of Chief Justice Vikram Nath, will provide updates including daily causelists, notices, circulars, press releases and Youtube live streaming links through the channel from March 1, 2021.

A press release issued by the Gujarat High Court in this regard said in due course of time, more services may be initiated like advocates cause lists, case status, orders, judgments etc.

The Gujarat High Court would be the first High Court in the country to have an official Telegram channel.

Earlier, it had attained the distinction of being the first High Court to stream court proceedings live on YouTube.
