Bengaluru School of Law and Justice appoints Prof Shruti Vidyasagar as academic dean

Prof Vidyasagar will be establishing the SoLJ Law Review as its founding editor.

The Bengaluru School of Law and Justice (SoLJ) has appointed Prof Shruti Vidyasagar as a Professor of Practice and Academic Dean.

Prof Vidyasagar will be a strategic leader to SoLJ's academic programmes, curriculum development, research initiatives and faculty mentorship.

Prof Vidyasagar holds a Master's degree in law from University of Oxford (BCL). She also holds a B.A.L LL.B from Bangalore University and a postgraduate diploma in Human Rights Law from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore.

With two decades of experience as a lawyer, editor and academic contributor, Prof Vidyasagar enrolled with the Bar Council of Karnataka in 2005.

She has advised a diverse range of institutions including companies, universities, law firms and civil society organisations.

In addition to her legal practice, Prof Vidyasagar is a Consulting Editor with DAKSH, a Bengaluru-based civil society organisation working at the intersection of public policy, data and rule of law.
