Lt Amit Choudhary, an alumnus of NLIU, commanded the Mixed Scouts contingent while Assistant Commandant Lakshita, who graduated from JGLS, supported the Indian Coast Guards contingent.

Two law graduates from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal and Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) on Monday led parades organised to mark Republic Day, 2026.

Lieutenant Amit Choudhary, an alumnus of National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, commanded the Mixed Scouts Contingent.

Lt. Choudhary is currently serving in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Branch, Indian Army. In his role as Contingent Commander, he led personnel from Arunachal Scouts, Garhwal Scouts, Ladakh Scouts, Sikkim Scouts, Dogra Scouts, and Kumaon Scouts.

An alumnus of the Batch of 2022, Lt. Amit Choudhary is a second-generation military officer.

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) alumnus, Batch of 2021, Assistant Commandant Lakshita supported Assistant Commandant Nishi Sharma in leading the Indian Coast Guard Contingent.
