Senior Advocate Harish Salve appointed Distinguished Professor at NLU Delhi

Senior Advocate Harish Salve is currently a King's Counsel for the courts of England and Wales. Previously, he served as the Solicitor General of India from 1999 to 2002.

National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) has announced that Senior Advocate Harish Salve has accepted its invitation to become a Distinguished Professor at the University.

Senior Advocate Harish Salve is currently a King's Counsel for the courts of England and Wales. Previously, he served as the Solicitor General of India from 1999 to 2002.

Commenting on his appointment as a Distinguished Professor at NLU Delhi, the University's Vice-Chancellor Prof GS Bajpai said,

“Mr Salve’s association with National Law University Delhi will be highly inspirational to the students, researchers and faculty members."

Prof Bajpai added that apart from delivering lectures in the university, Senior Advocate Salve will also guide the academic vision of the University in the field of legal profession and practice.

Earlier this year, former Chief Justice of India, Dr Justice DY Chandrachud was appointed as a Distinguished Professor.
