Trilegal onboarded 93 students from 16 different law schools in 2022

The starting remuneration offered this year was ₹16 lakh per annum. 56% of the hires were women.

Trilegal has confirmed that it hired 93 students across Indian law schools in 2022, out of which the majority are women.

The starting remuneration offered on campus this year was ₹16 lakh per annum.

56% or 52 of the new recruits were women. The firm said that while the fresh recruits were placed across all its offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram and Bangalore, a majority will start with the Corporate law practice in the Mumbai office.

38% candidates (35) are said to have secured Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from the firm .

In an effort to increase the scope of its hiring this year, Trilegal recruited from law schools like Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU), Tiruchirapalli and Symbiosis Law School. It hired students from around 16 law schools this year.

Revealing the firm's hiring strategy to Bar & Bench, Chief People Officer at Trilegal Kavita Mathur said,

"We get call back interns who we put on projects, engagements, etc., so we can gauge their resilience, technical abilities, ability to collaborate and work in teams and their ability to adopt to the changing work scenarios."
