LexOrbis hires DPS Parmar as Head of IPAB practice

LexOrbis has hired former technical member of the Intellectual Property Appellate Board (IPAB), DPS Parmar, as Senior Consultant with the firm’s IPAB practice group.

Parmar holds an M.Sc. degree from Agra University and did his LL.B. from Delhi University. He had worked with the Indian Patent Office (IPO) for over 27 years, before joining the IPAB as a technical member in 2011.

He was instrumental in recognition of IPO as 15th ISA and IPEA under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).  He also held additional charge of Head of Intellectual Property Training Institute (IPTI) at Nagpur.

In addition to heading the IPAB practice, he will also guide the Patent Prosecution practice at LexOrbis.
