Dealogic 2016: Link Legal tops India Project Finance league table followed by Luthra & Luthra

Link Legal India Law Services has topped the Dealogic Project Finance deal league table for India in 2016. Th

e firm recorded 67 project finance deals worth $6.3 billion over the course of financial year 2016.

Luthra & Luthra are second with 26 deals at $5.2 billion, while Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas is at third with 27 deals at $4.8 billion.

The other firms featuring in the top ten include Gravitas Legal, Desai & Diwanji, HSA Advocates, and J Sagar Associates.

Four of these firms made it to the Asia (excluding Japan) & Australasia league table. They were Link Legal, Luthra & Luthra, Cyril Amarchand and Gravitas, at second, fourth, seventh and eighth places respectively. Herbert Smith Freehills topped that list with 26 deals at $8.09 billion.

Recently, Mergermarket had released its M&A league tables for 2016; Cyril Amarchand had the highest deal value, while AZB & Partners recorded the most deals.
