[BREAKING] Centre notifies appointment of eight new judges to Allahabad High Court

The names of the eight lawyers were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium on August 24.

The Central government has notified the appointment of eight lawyers as additional judges of Allahabad High Court.

The appointment is for a period of two years.

The eight lawyers appointed are:

1. Chandra Kumar Rai

2. Krishan Pahal

3. Sameer Jain

4. Ashutosh Srivastava

5. Subhash Vidyarthi

6. Brij Raj Singh

7. Shree Prakash Singh

8. Vikas Budhwar

The names of the above eight lawyers were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium on August 24 along with the names of five other lawyers.

However, of the total of thirteen names, only eight have been cleared by the Centre.
