Supreme Court Collegium recommends 5 judicial officers as Jharkhand High Court judges

Collegium statements to this effect were issued following a meeting held on Wednesday, September 1.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of five judicial officers as judges of the Jharkhand High Court.

The judicial officers proposed for elevation to the High Court are:

1. Pradeep Kumar Srivastava

2. Gautam Kumar Choudhary

3. Ambuj Nath

4. Navneet Kumar

5. Sanjay Prasad

The Jharkhand High Court currently has 10 vacancies as against a sanctioned strength of 25 judges.
