Kanchan Sinha, former Principal Associate at Amarchand Mangaldas has joined the Corporate practice group at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices as a Managing Associate.

Kanchan is a graduate of National Law Institute University, Bhopal. She joined Amarchand Mangaldas in 2003 where she has worked for the last 10 years before moving to Luthra.

Independent practitioner Anshul Tyagi has joined Luthra as a Partner in the Litigation team. He has more than 21 years of experience in corporate and commercial litigations, arbitrations and negotiations. Anshul is a graduate of Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. He initially worked with Justice Sarin for three years before he was elevated to the bench. Anshul has been ofcounsel for many law firms and corporate lawyers.  

Ketan Mukhija, a graduate of NALSAR, Hyderabad too has joined as a Senior Associate in Corporate/M&A team. He has previously worked at P&A Law Offices and Vaish Associates. Another two lawyers Vaibhav Kumar and Mayank Grover have also joined the firm as Senior Associates in the Litigation team.

On the senior-level lateral hires at the firm, Senior Partner Mohit Saraf said, “Most teams in the firm are over leveraged and we are therefore constantly on the lookout for highly trained lawyers.  We are very excited about the quality of the hiring that we have done recently and this should definitely give some respite to the overworked teams.”

Recently, Luthra Litigation Partner Ajit Warrier had resigned to join Amarchand Mangaldas.
