[Exclusive]: Luthra hires Samvad’s Partner, NLSIU-grad Apurva Jayant

Luthra & Luthra has hired Samvad Partners’ Mumbai Partner Apurva Jayant as

a Partner in Mumbai.

Luthra Senior Partner Mohit Saraf confirmed her joining and said,

“We are delighted to welcome her to Luthra partnership. She will be focusing on corporate M&A and Private Equity.”

A graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Apurva started her career with J. Sagar Associates, followed by stints at Amarchand Mangaldas, and AZB & Partners.

She joined Samvad Partners in 2013 and was made Partner in 2015, primarily working on M&A, PE, General Corporate, Banking & Finance, and regulatory matters.

Samvad Partner Poornima Hatti confirmed her exit and said, “We wish her all the best.”

Luthra & Luthra recently announced its annual promotions at the firm’s annual day. The firm has made six new partners, and eight new Partner Designates. The newly inducted Partners include Aditya Periwal, Karan Mitroo, Mriga Solanki, Rohit Raghavan, Saurabh Tiwari and Vaibhav Suri.
