A few months before Diwali, promotions are in the air with Luthra & Luthra Law Offices becoming the second firm to announce a massive number of Partner promotions. This comes days after AZB & partners announced the promotion of five of its senior associates to partnership.
Yesterday, Luthra announced its annual promotions. The firm has promoted one Partner Designate and five Managing Associates to partnership. This round of promotion will take the total number of partners at the firm to 54.
The firm also announced an expansion of the Executive Committee with the elevation of capital markets partner Manan Lahoty as a new member in addition to existing members – Rajiv Luthra, Mohit Saraf, Sameen Vyas, Sameer Dudhoria and Sundeep Dudeja.
Partner Promotions
The new Partners are:
Vasudev Dibbur is based in the firm’s Bangalore office and focuses on Mergers & Acquisitions, PE/VC investments, joint ventures & general corporate advisory. He is a graduate of University Law College, Bangalore and holds an LL.M. from University of Cambridge.
Anshul Jain joined Luthra in 2007. Nirupam Lodha joined Luthra in 2007 after graduating from National Law University, Jodhpur. Lodha is part of the IP and TMT team at the firm.
Dipti Lavya Swain joined Luthra in 2014 prior to which he was working at Wadia Ghandy. He too is a graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur.
The firm has also promoted 5 of its Senior Associates to Managing Associate level and 19 Associates to Senior Associate level. (Updated)
