Morrison & Foerster promotes Amit Kataria to partnership

Morrison & Foerster has recently announced 15 partner promotions worldwide including that of Amit Kataria, an Of Counsel  in HongKong.

Kataria has extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions transactions, private equity investments, securities offerings and on a broad range of transactional and corporate advisory matters.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Kataria said,

“It is an honour for me to be elected to the esteemed Partnership of Morrison & Foerster LLP. It is an exciting opportunity for me and I look forward to working with my extraordinary colleagues to further contribute to the firm’s top-notch international M&A practice with a strong emphasis on the region.”

He is a graduate of Delhi University and holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School. Kataria has previously worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell, and Debevoise and Plimpton.
