Attend the Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre’s 13th Annual International Conference on April 9

Attend the 13th Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre (NPAC) International Conference, 2022 on the subject, “The Evolving Arbitration Framework in India - Challenges and Opportunities."

The one-day conference will be held on Saturday, April 9 2022 where the inaugural address will be delivered by Justice V Ramasubramaniam (Judge, Supreme Court of India).

A special address will also be given by Lord Wolfson, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice, UK.

There will be two international and two domestic sessions to deal with important current and controversial issues in the law of arbitration.

The speakers this year are: Mark McNeill, Andrew Pullen, V. Niranjan, Rajat Jariwal, Atul Sharma, Ankit Khushu, Prateek Jain, Shourav Lahiri, Nandini Khaitan, Samar Singh Kachwaha, Zoheb Hossain, Avinash Pradhan and Tejas Karia.

In the afternoon, Anirudh Krishnan will highlight the important developments in arbitration law in the customary March of Law Session.

The day ends with the popular Young Turks Session where the speakers are: Amita Gupta Katragadda, Tahira Karanjawala, Naira Jejeebhoy and Hina Shaheen.

NPAC International Conference

The Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre is the premier institutional arbitration body in the country. Founded in 2005 as a non-profit company registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act 1956, the NPAC works under the overall guidance of an outstanding Governing Council headed by Justice M N Venkatachaliah, Former Chief Justice of India. The NPAC has a Board of Directors that supervises the arbitration centre in Chennai and its other activities. The Centre conducts more than 75 arbitration hearings a month.

The conference will be conducted in a hybrid fashion. It can be attended physically at Shangri-La's - Eros Hotel, 19 Ashoka Road, Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001 or can be joined through NPAC's special virtual platform.

The conference will take place from 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM.
