Legal Technology Consultant Eshan Sharma has joined AZB & Partners in Mumbai as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Confirming the news, AZB Managing Partner Zia Mody commented,

“Having Eshan join us is just great. With his legal background, his ability to understand the pain points a law firm faces will be invaluable. And how to resolve them in a sensible manner.

Eshan also already knows many of our partners and so has fitted in really well. We really look forward to Eshan being an integral part of us.”

Eshan is a 2011 graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He initially worked at Amarchand Mangaldas in the General Corporate team. In 2014, he moved to the management side joining Managing Partner Cyril Shroff’s Office. He was involved in creating innovative products, solutions and information design systems, which facilitate all (human and technological) resources to work at an optimum level.

In 2016, he left Cyril Amarchand to work with Rainmaker as Head of Technology and Products and later he went independent.
