O’Melveny & Myers offers internships at Singapore office for IDIA volunteers

O’Melveny & Myers LLP and the Increasing Diversity Increasing Access to Legal Education project (IDIA) recently announced an internship programme for IDIA student team leaders. The internship will allow select law school students to spend four to six weeks working at O’Melveny’s Singapore office.

“This is a terrific opportunity for our volunteers to gain cutting-edge legal exposure from a leading global law firm,” said Shamnad Basheer, Founder and Managing Trustee of IDIA in the official press release.

“O’Melveny has a longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion, and we hope to continue this legacy by fostering talent in India,” said Pooja Sinha, counsel and coordinator of O’Melveny’s India Practice based in Singapore, in the official press release.

As per the the release, the internship will be open to all IDIA team leaders; students in their penultimate year will be encouraged to apply. Interns will receive a weekly stipend and also be reimbursed for the roundtrip airfare to Singapore.
