PSL Advocates & Solicitors sets up office in Hangzhou, China

Bar & Bench

PSL Advocates & Solicitors has set up an office in Hangzhou, China. This will be the firm’s fourth office apart from the ones in Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh.

PSL signed the MoU for setting up the office on March 7, 2019. The China office will be looking after India-related disputes and investment advisory and will be headed by Sameer Jain and Sandeep Bajaj.

Commenting on the opening of the new office, PSL Founder & Managing Partners Sameer Jain and Sandeep Bajaj said,

“China is a big market. There is immense interest in investment into India, which creates a space for a firm providing exclusive services to clients from China. Setting up an office in Hangzhou was strategic in view of the business environment there.”

Co-Founding Partner Siddharth Jain commented,

“These are exciting times in China because of One Belt One Road initiative. We are very excited to expand our reach.”

PSL came into existence in November 2017, following the merger of Delhi-based boutique firm Pamasis Law Chambers and Mumbai-based law firm SanAd Legal.

Pamasis was set up in 2012 by Sameer Jain, Sandeep Bajaj, Siddharth Jain and Manju Jain. Sameer Jain was working with Luthra & Luthra as an Associate and Siddharth Jain was working with AS Chandhiok and Fox Mandal before setting up PLC. SanAd Legal was founded by Aditya Chopra in 2015.
