Retired Karnataka High Court Judge, Justice MP Chinnappa passes away

Retired Judge of the Karnataka High Court, Justice MP Chinnappa has passed away on Monday.

Justice Chinnappa was born on June 1, 1941. He enrolled as an Advocate in 1968 and was appointed as a District Judge in 1983. He has served as the Registrar (Judicial) and Registrar-General of the Karnataka High Court.

In 1995, he was appointed a Judge of the Karnataka High Court. He has also served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Karnataka Judicial Academy. He retired from the High Court in 2013.

Following his retirement, Justice Chinnappa has also served as the Chairman of the State Police Complaints Authority. He has also served as the part of the Panel of Arbitrators and Conciliators of the Arbitration Centre, Karnataka.
