Right to Privacy: Supreme Court to deliver judgment in a week

Bar & Bench

Chief Justice of India JS Khehar today said in court that the judgment in the Right to Privacy case is likely to be delivered within a week.

Justice Khehar was responding to a request by Senior Advocate Salman Khurshid to list a case relating to Aadhaar.

“Aadhaar case will be listed only after the judgment in Privacy is delivered. Wait for a couple of days or a week, that judgment will come”, said Khehar J.

Earlier this month, a 9-judge Bench of the Supreme Court reserved its judgment in the case. The Court had heard the matter for six days.
